Milwaukee Brewers™ outfielder Christian Yelich and the Yelich family are proud to host their fourth annual “Home Plate” charity event, presented by American Family Insurance. This year’s event will take place on May 21st, 2026, at Milwaukee’s Newest Music Venue, “Landmark Credit Union Live”. This year's performance will be headlined by country star, Jake Owen, with opening acts by the former lead singer of The Fray, Isaac Slade and the Nicotine Dolls! Milwaukee’s own, Charlie Berens, will be back as the host of the event and comedy performance!
Shift Description:
Volunteer at the Yelich Home Plate Charity Concert, where you will:
- Act as a hospitality-expert for the VIP guests. Please have your best foot forward!
- Be stationed at The Deer District entrance with another volunteer.
- Direct VIP guests from The Trade toward the Landmark Credit Union Live venue, where the concert will take place.
- Additional Visit Milwaukee volunteers will be placed at both The Trade Hotel and Landmark Credit Union Live to assist with wayfinding as well.
- If there is any confusion, please ask the guests to look out for the navy-blue Visit Milwaukee shirts.
- Snacks and beverages will be provided for participating volunteers.
Please note: Registration for volunteer shifts will close on Wednesday, 5/13 so please sign up in advance, if you're interested in participating. All volunteers will be asked to complete a 30-minute Zoom training (Meeting ID: 616 563 2363) on Thursday, 5/14 at 5:00pm ahead of the event.
