Opportunities From: Visit Milwaukee

We are excited to share a brand new volunteer opportunity - Calendar Events Management. You will be helping reviewing and editing submitted events. Prepare to be looking at a computer for the entirety of the shift. The person who manages our website will help with training during the first shift. Ideally, the shift would be filled by reoccurring volunteers. 

To ensure coverage and training, this opportunity should ideally be covered by a volunteer who can commit on a consistent basis. If you are interested, but the timing doesn't work with your schedule, please reach out to Taleah or Taylor for accommodations. 

This opportunity is a great way to get involved with Visit Milwaukee Staff as well as building technical skills through learning new software programs. 

Come support the US Olympic Team Trials for Long Track by helping put together giftbags for the athletes.

During this shift, you will:

Add tissue paper and contents to bags. 

It's a really fun way to get to know the Visit Milwaukee team and help with the upcoming Olympic Team Trials! 

Support Visit Milwaukee's Team by creating a fun scavenger hunt for downtown! Using your Milwaukee expertise, build a scavenger hunt for the downtown area with clues or riddles. The scavenger hunt should focus on things that are around long-term to avoid consistent updates. Creativity is encouraged! This scavenger hunt can be created from the comfort of your own home or at the Visit Milwaukee Office. If you are interested in the opportunity, but the current day and time doesn't work for you, please let us know and we can open up different shifts.

You can take as much time as you want as there is not a deadline for this task - if you go over the recommended shift, please let Taylor or Taleah know to get full credit for the hours worked.
