VISIT Milwaukee joins Milwaukee County in urging all residents to pledge to stay home and save lives. #StayHomeMKE provides useful information on the importance of staying home as well as graphics for social media, house signs, and more to share with friends and family. Please consider sharing this pledge with your family and friends.

You can always find the most current information we have on our COVID-19 information page which is updated daily with news from the state, canceled and postponed events, closed hotels, and employment resources.

Hospitality Heroes Blood Drives

Be a hero - give blood! Thanks to all of our partners who expressed interest in helping Aurora Health Care and Versiti host a blood drive in this time of need. A series of Hospitality Heroes Blood Drives will be held next week, on April 14 at The CooperageApril 15 at Adventure Rock, and April 16 at Saz's South Second. All blood drives are by appointment - one donation can help three patients! Please share with your audiences and networks to help get the word out.

Happy Birthday, UWM Panther Arena!

Today the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena turns 70 years old! This historic venue has seen countless concerts, sporting events, meetings, and more from when it was built as the Milwaukee Arena, its days as the MECCA Arena, "The Cell," and now today. Did you know our CEO Peggy Williams-Smith saw her first concert at the MECCA?

Takeout for Easter

As Easter celebrations happen at home this weekend, we know many of our partners are offering takeout options for at-home Easter brunch or Easter dinner. Don't forget to support partners like Mader's, The Capital Grille, Rise & Grind Cafe, Bavarian Bierhaus, Black Shoe Hospitality, Bavette la Boucherie, The Packing House, Don's Diner, The Village Cheese Shop, and more when planning your Easter meal - many restaurants have pre-order deadlines, so order now! You can also stock your Easter baskets with treats from Kilwins, Ultimate Confections, and Indulgence Chocolatiers.
