Wayfinding Signage

New signage is going up in downtown! We are excited to partner with Milwaukee Downtown BID #21 and the City of Milwaukee on new wayfinding signage for pedestrians and vehicles throughout downtown. These new signs were installed on existing poles and infrastructure as part of an overall plan to make it easier for visitors to navigate our downtown areas. The 20 new vehicular signs have been installed and 40 pedestrian signs will be installed in the coming weeks. Click here for more: STORY.

Northwestern Mutual Cancels Annual Meeting

Northwestern Mutual announced that it is canceling its August annual meeting, always one off the biggest events of the year and a volunteer favorite, and shifting it to a virtual three-day format because of the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Mural Honoring Milwaukee's Medical Workers

Above: Local muralist Mauricio Ramirez created a new mural honoring healthcare workers titled "Frontline Heroes" at 600 W. Lincoln Avenue. The mural was featured in the New York Times: STORY

In these challenging times, the helpers are everywhere. They are the first responders, farmers, hospitality & food service staff, mail carriers, grocery store employees, pharmacists, factory workers, health care workers, delivery drivers, civil service employees, journalists - anyone working to keep us safe, healthy, informed and as close to our normal lives as possible.

Together, let's demonstrate our appreciation and let the helpers know how much we value their service and commitment.

Our Favorites Open for Takeout and Curbside Service

As Safer at Home orders continue, we're excited to see the returns of many Milwaukee favorites for takeout and curbside service, like Lakefront Brewery, Usinger's, Steny's, Comet Cafe, and the restaurants of Hospitality Democracy.

A Special Thank You, Volunteers!

We couldn't do what we do without you. We miss you so much! Our team anxiously awaits for the new days ahead when we can again welcome Milwaukee visitors with great big smiles! In the meantime, we hope you are staying safe and healthy at home.
