Hi Volunteers!

4.4 Update

Milwaukee's new Order 4.4 goes into effect on Friday. Thanks to the progress the city has seen with gating criteria, this order loosens some of the restrictions on gatherings.

Key Changes:

  • Event venues and gathering places like museums and performance spaces can now have up to 25% capacity WITHOUT submitting a safety plan to the health department, up to 250 people maximum in the space
  • For more than 250 people, you will need to submit a plan to the health department for the type of event (wedding, tradeshow, convention, meeting, etc)
  • For less than 250 people, you can have 25% capacity without a safety plan
  • Patrons can order from the bar if they maintain distancing and the line does not extend into the seating area
  • Sports events and tournaments can have fans up to 250 people or 25% capacity
  • These capacities are PER room, not per location. If you are a hotel that has multiple ballrooms, each ballroom is considered its own space.

Thank you to ALL who have taken safety measures over the past 11 months to bring us to this point! Click here to view the full order.

Vaccines

The City has set up a hotline and a website for those eligible to get vaccinated against COVID-19. Please go to milwaukee.gov/covidvax or call 414-286-6800 if you are eligible. If you want to learn more about when you are eligible, please go to healthyMKE.com and sign up for their alerts. You can also connect with your local health department. We need to get as many people vaccinated as quickly as possible!

Summerfest

We wish this was the kick-off to summer, but instead, it will be the send-off to summer and we can't think of a better way to close down what will be a great summer in Milwaukee.
