The 2022 Official Guides are Here

It's here! The official 2022 Milwaukee Visitors Guide has arrived and it's full of trip inspiration. Not only that, but a recent study from Destination Analytics found that visitor guides drove $48 of economic impact per guide distributed. Inside this year's guide, you'll find new family favorites, urban adventure, festivals, local brews and more. View the digital version here; printed copies are available by request.

Taking Our Message to the Streets

The state has awarded VISIT Milwaukee a $112,050 grant to build a mobile visitor kiosk. This mobile welcome center will be an immersive and interactive experience that will help visitors learn about all Milwaukee has to offer. For those who've never been to Milwaukee, we can now bring a piece of Milwaukee to them. Aside from popping up around town, plans for the kiosk include a statewide road trip and additional activations at events across the state and even around the Midwest. We will be counting on volunteers to help make this a fun and informative experience for visitors.

VISIT Milwaukee Celebrates Lunar New Year and Black History Month

Milwaukee prides itself on being a place that welcomes all people. No matter who you are or what you celebrate, Milwaukee has something for you. This month we celebrate our city's Asian culture with the Lunar New Year and our city's African American culture with Black History Month. These and many more diverse cultures add to the beautiful fabric of our city, offering varied and unique experiences for locals and visitors. This is why Milwaukee is the place where unique unites.

See the Wisconsin Center Expansion Unfold Live

Over the past year, you've heard us share how the Wisconsin Center District is building more with its convention center expansion completing in 2024. Now, you can see the expansion unfold for yourself with the Live Construction Feed! So, just how much more are we building? More space for larger and simultaneous events. More flexible areas to accommodate events of all scales. More access for loading and unloading. More modern facilities to inspire innovation. You'll experience it all when the convention center nearly doubles in size to 445,000 total sq. ft. including a 300,000 sq. ft. contiguous exhibit space.
